PRECALC

Reflection
During my time in Julian’s Precalc class, I have learned a lot about myself as a mathematician. I have worked really hard on assignments that have felt personal and connected to me and my life. I have learned a lot about real life math problems and applied them to my school life and outside of school as well. I have had to work through teamwork that wasn’t very dynamic. By doing so, I have strengthened my perseverance and advocacy in order to produce quality work. One example of perseverance and advocacy was my Meadows and Malls report because both of my partners weren’t able to help me complete it. I spoke to Julian in order to get an extension. This was a good example of how I used a few Habits of Heart and Mind to better my experience and work in Precalc. I have also built a very strong community connection through this course. We spent a lot of time working together in order to further understand the homework and finish on time. As an Osprey I have used perspective in order to be a better team member for my groups.
